Sylvie McGee has a master of social work and is the principal of All For A Good Cause Consulting. McGee is an independent grant writer and program consultant, a role that has afforded her great satisfaction during her more than 30 years in business.McGee works with varied clients, including community-based nonprofits in youth and family services, behavioral health care and community development, specifically in health care systems, schools and universities, housing authorities and units of government.
As a consulting grant writer, McGee has raised over $130 million for clients from various private, local government, state and federal sources. She has found great success in securing big grants from federal agencies. McGee has taught grant writing at several colleges and universities, including the University of Washington, and served as a subject matter expert for the development of the grant writer professional national certification exam.
