Specialization in Grant Management

Strengthen Grant-Funded Programs for Maximum Impact

About This Program

Grants are the lifeblood of many organizations, often providing vital funding and support for public services, research, nonprofits or other mission-driven ventures. But grant awards often come with complex reporting and financial requirements, and successfully managing grant-funded programs demands professionals with specialized expertise.

In this one-course specialization, you'll prepare to navigate the full grant life cycle — from pre-award preparation to post-award financial reporting and compliance. You'll learn to assess an organization's grant readiness, interpret administrative and cost regulations, and establish systems to track performance, timelines, effort and required deliverables. You’ll also gain experience with common grants management systems. In the end, you’ll have the skills to achieve grant objectives, maintain strong relationships with funders, and make a plan to sustain your organization’s ongoing impact.

Designed For

Professionals in the nonprofit, education and health care sectors who want to build their skills in grant management, as well as other professionals who want to get started in the field.
