About This Course

In this course, we’ll explore different methodologies of engaging learners in museum settings. You’ll learn how to craft curricula that resonate with visitors of all ages and backgrounds, while embodying the museum’s mission. We’ll cover program planning and management with a focus on inclusivity and community engagement, ensuring that educational initiatives are responsive to diverse audiences. We’ll discuss how to assess audience needs and evaluate program impact to amplify your outreach efforts.

Through interactive assignments, you'll have the opportunity to design immersive educational experiences that foster meaningful community connections. By the end of the course, you'll have the tools and knowledge you need to propose your own innovative museum educational program.
