About This Course

In the final course of the series, you’ll continue to solidify your core competencies of technical communication. You’ll learn how to leverage UX research practices for advanced audience analysis, write localizable content and study the mechanics of structured writing. You’ll also take a closer look at ethical considerations in using content development and management technologies, such as AI, to build scalable documentation frameworks.

We’ll survey the major industries that employ technical writers and explore opportunities for technical communication career growth. We’ll examine what technical writers have in common with closely related fields such as content strategy, instructional design and marketing communication.
