About This Course

This course focuses on Node.js, the web server technology that allows full-stack programming in JavaScript. We’ll begin with the fundamentals of node programming, the node runtime environment and package management. Then we’ll examine RESTful APIs and you’ll expand your skills using the Node.js/Express framework to set up a well-structured back-end web application. You’ll also learn how to write JavaScript code that can be used on both the front and back end and how to deploy applications to the cloud.
